The Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Position: Principal of Alternative Education
Assignment: The Academy at Maple Avenue – Cassadaga, NY
Division: Alternative Education
Appointment: Probationary – 1.0 FTE
Certifications: School District Administrator (SDA) or School Building Leader (SBL)
Minimum experience: Requires administrative experience.
Salary Range: $92,000 - $125,000
Individuals serving in the role of Principal of Alternative Education at the Academy at Maple Location, Shall at the completion of their first full year of employment in that role by E2CCB, receive a stipend in the amount of seven thousand dollars ($7,000).
The job will also require hiring instructional staff and assisting in professional development planning and implementation. The Principal of Alternative Education will have leadership responsibilities to support staff and students by being the leader of programming specific to The Academy at Maple Avenue and issues that involve collaborative problem solving. The Principal of Alternative Education will also lead classroom team meetings within highly specialized alternative education classrooms and develop targeted programmatic interventions and planning in conjunction with other E2CCB leaders.
The Principal of Alternative Education will represent E2CCB when working collaboratively with component district personnel and community agencies, and will interact with various administrators within departments of E2CCB. This position will require collaboration and coordination through attending meetings of various forms.
