Position Summary:  Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Public Relations Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's public image and promoting its mission, programs, and services. This position is responsible for assisting with various public relations activities and may be involved in content creation, media outreach, and social media management.

 

Key Responsibilities:  Assist in creating engaging content, press releases, and marketing materials to promote the organization and/or component district.  Create promotional materials, including but not limited to flyers, programs, graphics, videos, slideshows, and brochures.  Cover and report on day-to-day events or activities happening throughout the organization and/or component district.  Update and manage the E2CCB website as needed.  Support social media management and online presence to engage with the community and stakeholders.  Assist in organizing and coordinating events, press conferences, and promotional campaigns.  Monitor media coverage and maintain media contact databases.  Help in responding to inquiries and providing information to the public and media.
